"Pros: Eglantina and her family epitomised what it means to be a wonderful, generous, astute, and caring host. After more than 3 months of travelling around Eastern Europe, this apartment was the best. If you decide to stay in Berat and want genuine Albanian hospitality, don't choose an accommodation within the castle walls or in the Old Town. Stay in a local neighbourhood. Stay away from the tourists. Stay here. The apartment was large and cool (given that the temperatures outside were hitting 40 degrees C). We had everything we needed. The shower was hot, pressure great. The bed was very comfortable." ~Paul
