"Pros: beautiful sea view; well equipped kitchen (thanks for coffeemaker!), close to groceries, restaurants; owner very responsive. Cons: Serious problem of ants; parking nightmare (will be worse during prime beach season!); noise of construction in another unit at 9-10:30 pm; maybe a cat has been in apartment before (allergic reaction caused us to stay away!); entrance is a wreck!" ~Rebecca

"Pros: Lovely large modern airconditioned apartment with great facilities. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, smart tv and washing machine. Very clean. Located in the centre of Durres beach and close to restaurants, markets and the beach. We had free use of the sunbeds and umbrella at the Cosmo Hotel which was an easy 10 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is large enough to suit a family of 4 as well. Would highly recommend staying here. Cons: Nothing" ~Fiona

"Pros: The host, Zamir, is friendly and helpful and allowed me to check in very early in the morning, thanks for that. Clean and fully equipped apartment on the 4th floor with a very nice balcony and view of the sea and mountains. Good location 100m from the beach with many supermarkets and restaurants in the area and a 30-minute walk to Durrës city centre. Cons: There is no heating in the bedroom in the middle of winter. The air conditioning unit in the living room is capable of heating the entire apartment, but I was told to turn it off during the day, and I still felt cold in the bedroom during the night. Furthermore, the building can get noisy at night, and the unit is not soundproof. If not for these issues, I would have extended my stay..." ~Edi
