"Pros: The house was amazing and the location was great. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It has a huge garage which was soooo valuable during the 45* days we had during our stay. The kitchen could’ve done with more utensils and stuff for cooking, but we made do.
Cons: The check-in process was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, and hope to never have to experience again. It was very confusing and misleading. We did not know if we were checking into an apartment building with 2000 units or 20. Turns out it was just a house. (Why did they lead us to believe that there would be a reception desk?!) We were given a code to a lockbox, only to discover there were no keys inside. We were told a driver was on the way, but they did not tell us that the driver was an Uber driver and was hired to deliver the keys. I was told I needed to click on the link that was texted to me from an unknown number, follow the prompts and send them a picture of my photo ID. Dodgy as! For hours we were convinced we had been scammed, so we actually started compiling information and writing a report. Finally, after the Uber driver delivered the keys, we were able to gain access to the property. I’m anxiously waiting for my $750 deposit to be returned to my account because I’m still feeling apprehensive about it all. The house was fine but “Swainston Apartments” left much to be desired! (Seems coincidental that someone named Cherry from Swainston Apartments contacted me about check in process, and someone also named Cherry left a generous review about the house, as if she were a guest. Red flags.)"
