"Pros: We had nothing to like except for the location, which is in the center of the city, with multiple things to do within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and tall, the building being a classic one. Cons: The entrance and hallway were dark, with abrupt stairs and no elevator, so no heavy luggage recommended. The furniture and laminated parquet seemed worn off, the general impression when walking in was of a less than functional (to be kind) space. The kitchen had various appliances that seemed dated and not clean, in fact we resented touching stuff, let alone trying to use anything... The most disturbing experience, though, was that (luckily) before unpacking, we found BED BUGS in the beds. We killed 3 of them while rushing to get out of the place in the middle of the night, trying to find a hotel. We were fortunate to find a place at 2 AM and left in a hurry, so the total time of the "stay" was about 30 minutes. The underground parking is a few blocks away; it costs 3EUR / hour and if you have a foreign license plate you will not be able to benefit from the special fee (probably 6 EUR/day) that applies if you install an application, but you cannot install the application without an Austrian phone number. I have asked the contact person for a full refund (and I didn't ask for compensations for the nightmare we've been through), but they keep postponing any action. They asked for pictures or videos of the bugs; we only had one, because the last thing you want to do in a situation like this is to explore the premises and chase the bugs in order to make sure they are comfortable with the "evidence"... I highly recommend everyone interested to think again, or to carefully inspect the premises before unpacking or sleeping there... No hard feelings : this is a matter of hygiene and public health..." ~Bogdan

"Pros: Check out time was extended because of delay with checking in. Cons: We got instructions for self check in, but found the lock was not working. We contacted the host via the number they gave us and it took a bit of back and forth to find the spare keys and get into the flat, all together about 40 mins. However they extended our check out time because of this delay. Also there was no hot water on our last day, it was ice cold." ~Lea

"Pros: Great location, just a couple of minutes' walk from the Währinger Strasse-Volksoper U-bahn and tram stops, from where you could get anywhere. The top store apartment was situated at a quiet street. The landlord replied almost within minutes if there was a question. Cons: The free WiFi was quite unstable." ~Camilla
