"Pros: Rasul and Aicha were great hosts, and super accommodating of our schedule. Aicha's food was delicious. Their guest house is spacious and very clean, and we particularly enjoyed the terrace with the nice views on the mountain. Rasul guided us on a hike nearby, where we had the opportunity to learn more about his work with the wildlife conservation at the Hirkan National Park. Word of caution: we stayed there after some heavy rains that made the road difficult to drive, and impractical for the last 1.5km where we had to finish on foot. With or without rain, the last portion of the road is impossible without a 4x4. Cons: We really enjoyed learning about Rasul's work, and feel like this could be an even better experience if Rasul spoke a bit of English as we had to rely only on Google translate." ~Audrey
