"Pros: The location is fabulous. The accommodations are somewhat dated yet comfortable. They are, however, right on the beach. Ours had a lovely balcony with very good views.
Cons: The air conditioning seem to struggle. It could get hot at night while sleeping. We were there with three other couples and none of the room refrigerators worked. The service of some of the dining/beach service workers was lacking as well. The rooms were overpriced for the level of service received."

"Pros: I had previously stayed at a different side of the island and St James is the swanky part of town. The beach adjacent to the property was terrific and when snorklling, you can see small fishes close to the beach.
The apt was kitted out with appliances I wouldn't have expected, including blender. There was even a place to catch a sunset view
Cons: St James is further from the town than I expected. Taxi's are more expensive because of the distance but there are many buses. I'm glad I had the chance to stay on the West side of the Island. I don't like to go someplace and only experience a limited part. There are buses straight to Oistins so there is no shortage of transport !"
