"Pros: This place is old fashioned and beautiful. It's in a rural and quiet location. Parking was easy. It was winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the garden, but for warmer seasons, this could be a lovely bonus - it's beautiful and well looked after. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Although we arrived late, the host was able to wait for us and even called to check all is ok. Bathroom was big, comfortable, everything worked well, there were good towels, nice lemongrass soap and shampoo, nice coffee and biscuits in the room, etc. We were able to order breakfast last minute and it was available. They also were lovely in catering for our requests (vegetarian and kids only eating cereal) - it was considerate and lovely. Cons: A few comments to improve: EV charging - is just outside the hotel, but only allows for particular card owners to charge, so wasn't effective for us. I would consider allowing guests to charge and just add the cost to the bill. Host responsiveness - unfortunately she read everything but did not respond, so I didn't have information in time, although she was aware of everything and responsive to it on spot. One of the beds was too soft (for my liking), but the rest of us were very happy with their beds. Breakfast was ok in quality in a lovely dining room, but the price at 18Euro was probably on the expensive side." ~Dr
