"Pros: The large garden allows for some space to run about for the little ones. The patio area is a nice touch. The rural location was great as could hear neighbouring farm animals early in the morning. The main road that is located close by can be a bit noisy during the daytime but in the evenings it is super quiet and relaxing. The bathroom was massive and had a big walk-in shower and a deep bath (May be a bit tricky to get in and out for elderly guests). The rooms were clean and had freestanding cupboards which were useful.
Cons: Due to the location of the property being quite rural and the warm weather we had during our stay, we had a large number of flies/insects entering the property (just something to be aware of). As with other reviews, the stairs are incredibly steep, with very narrow steps and no handrails. This is an issue when coming down at night especially as the bathroom is located downstairs and the bedrooms are all located upstairs. I was concerned for the safety of our little one when using the stairs and escorted her each time. The house guide (information book) had outdated instructions in regard to garbage disposal. (Staed that yellow bag is to be used for general waste when none were present, I had to purchase some only to be told after that general waste should be put in the waste bin. This is not a complaint but rather a notice that some inaccuracies are present in the supplied house guide. - But we had a wonderful stay at this property and I have highlighted these points solely for the information of future guests." ~Jean
