"Pros: What a lovely stay we had at LA Chabetaine. Every detail and need thought of and such kind and hospitable owners. They have a lovely, updated home and our room was fastidiously clean. Comfortable bed, in fact the only stay in Europe where I had a top sheet and we appreciated that so much!! Bathroom was large and nice hot shower with good pressure. We had two delicious breakfasts during our stay and they are ever accommodating. One morning we had to get up super early to drive to Brussels, yet we had a nice breakfast and fresh hot coffee waiting for us downstairs despite the time. They have a great set up and we only wished we had booked a longer stay in Bastogne. Don't miss this! Oh and did I mention the view?!?! If your from the city, you will never want to leave ! "Pros: Spotlessly clean, well laid out and very comfortable. In a very quiet rural location, convenient for visiting Bastogne and the various museums related to WW2 and the Battle of the Bulge. Plenty of good walks through attractive countryside on the doorstep. Cons: There are not any facilities in the village, making it necessary to travel a few Km to the nearest shops for basic supplies, so a bit of planning ahead is required." ~William
