"Pros: Great place and friendly people! The buildings sit on a very privileged position facing the valley, surrounded by a beautiful garden and a surprisingly raw jungle. We were well cared by the owner (and Cleopatra), who also cooked us delicious, gourmet meals using fresh ingredients growing in the garden. We enjoyed a lot the excursion to the nearby waterfall, which had the perfect balance between trekking and relaxing and was guided by Francisco, an experienced local. If you love nature and spiritual peace, this will be an unforgettable stay! Cons: We definitely recommend it, so we can think only of a few warnings. Unless you only want to lay low at the inn, make sure not to go during heavy rain season. Expect a somewhat bumpy ride from the main road up to the inn. You are probably taking some extra expenses there (food, excursion), so if you don't have a Brazilian bank account, make sure to have a plan for payment (money, Brazilian person to pay through Pix or TED transfer)." ~Andreas
