"Pros: We absolutely loved the view, it’s in a gorgeous location, the rooms are so beautifully set up - it feels like you’re in europe! We organised every day around making sure we were back in time to watch the sunset go down from our room.
Cons: Nothing - it was great! Only note is that it’s up a very steep hill so would recommend hiring a car if you don’t have one. We didn’t hire a car and walked it and it was fine, but maybe it would be more comfortable for some."

"Pros: The house is beautiful. The place is great with a nice view of the ocean. The host Marcelo is very friendly and always ready to help with anything. The home itself is very simple and cozy. The beds are comfy and big, the barbecue area is super nice with a swimming pool and mountain view.
Bonus: for beer lovers, Marcelo also owns a beer place close to the homes.
Cons: - The swimming pool is shared with other homes, even if this is in the barbecue area of the home I rented, which can reduce the privacy in case other people are also using it.
- There are too many mosquitos (nothing you can do about it, as they are everywhere in Ilhabela)"
