"Pros: Location is perfect! Just tucked away in town, completely easy to find with signs pointing the direction👍 the beds are comfy and the hostel is very clean, we loved their rule of shoes off before entering and to rinse your feet from sand. Jefferson the receptionist, made an awesome breakfast, he was really happy and helpful 😊 I would 100% recommend staying here when visiting bonete. Cons: They tried to scam me with boat prices! Friend of the owner said he was ‘looking after’ the hostel, told us 130 for the boats and we can pay with card with his mate. But when asking locals and the boat guys ourselves they told us 100 and that’s the price we payed. The guy got really agitated and annoyed when we told him we aren’t paying 130, almost like he was waiting for the extra money, set a bad vibe in the hostel, luckily we had checked out at this point." ~Lauren
