"Pros: The hosts were excellent communicators—responsive, friendly, and easy to reach as they live in the front house. The location is convenient, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and even the beach (about a 1-hour walk). The room was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hosts kindly stored our luggage for us. Cons: We experienced power cuts several times during our stay. It seems that the suites at the back of the main house do not have individual fuse boxes, so when all rooms are occupied, the power overloads and shuts off. The issue was usually resolved quickly by the hosts, but when it happened overnight, we had to wait until morning. Additionally, the internet connection was inconsistent and could be improved." ~Welly

"Pros: Cycling around the island of Florianopolis, persistent rain for four days halted my progress in Lagoa. Rosa dos ventos pousada was a perfect place where to wait for sunshine to come again.The room with the kitchenette was comfortable, the location perfect, and Rosane was a kind host.
