"Pros: A Brazilian Pousada is often a simple means of accommodation, and this one is not any different. Puerta del Sol has a nice and cozy yard with a small but refreshing pool. The breakfast is OK and gives a good start of the day. It is located just a few meters of Rio das Ostras best beach.
Cons: The location has, though, a huge drawback: There is a night club (Tô no Trabalho) just 50 meters from the Pousada and they played loud music all night on the night of 01.01.2024 to 02.01.2024. I can imagine the same would happen on weekends at high season. Check before you book.
The tap water had a strong smell and taste, I think it is water from a well, since public water supply is deficient in Rio das Ostras."
