"Pros: Stylishly furnished and clean apartment in the center of Copacabana and in front of a good padaria if you like to have breakfast there. At night you should not walk outside in this area since it can be dangerous. Inside we felt very safe, there are super friendly Porteiros (professionals who actively ensure the safety of the site and residents). We felt very comfortable! Cons: When we had some problems with the check-in we were not able to reach anyone by telephone. Also the Porteiros who should be aware of all residents and apartments in the building were not aware of the Pineapple Apartment which made us stay in a different hotel for the first night. We felt quite insecure on our first night in a new country when we were not able to reach anyone from the agency and no one knew about our arrival (although we communicated the time of our arrival)." ~Joy
