"Pros: Ubicacao Cons: Unfortunately I had the worst booking.com experience with this place. My recommendation is not to book this place nor to book with Brasil Corner, the agency managing the reservation. beware: the advert you are looking at is not the whole apartment. It's two apartments. When we arrived we were surprised to see a much smaller apartment than in the photo! Furthermore, they had painted it the day before and there was a smell of paint which made it unbearableto stay in the room. So we had to sleep with the window open, but the apartment faces a main road so it was quite noisy. If that wasn't enough, on the Sunday, in the middle of our stay, the whole building would be out of electricity. We informed the agency immediately upon arrival, , which told us firstly that they knew about but failed to communicate us about this (what a surprise!!). In addition, they made us sign a contract and pay a 100 dollars deposit!!! Of course, nothing of this is mentioned in the announcement and they communicated only after the payment. We requested via booking to cancel the booking and get a refund. Booking told us it was up to the host. The agency who is responsible told us that they had to contact the owner but that would only be possible on Monday (two days after), because only managers could do it, and they don't work on weekend. However, if I wanted to get the chance of potentially getting a deposit I would have had to leave the apartment immediately. They also sent the cleaning service to in the morning before communicating it to us. For the price charged for this accommodation there are hundreds of better apartments, in newer buildings with better facilities." ~Andrea
