"Pros: We absolutely loved this little guest house! Stunning views from our room/balcony which had a cute yellow hammock. I loved waking up to the sound of nature and sea view. All the staff was super friendly and helpful, gave us great tips for places to visit and eat in in the evening. I highly recommend Canoas. The breakfast in the guest house was very good. Great choice every day, with different fresh seasonal fruits, fresh fruit juices, home made cakes, freshly made eggs, bread basket etc. The coffee was great too. I also loved that they made a fresh batch of coffee around 4pm every day and we could help ourselves to coffe/tea in the afternoon as well as the cake ☺️ There’s also free filtered water available all day. I can’t recommend this little paradise enough! On our last day after we checked out, the staff let us keep the towels to use later after spending more time at the beach and also the outside shower which was super helpful. I hope to return to this place one day. ☺️ Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like" ~Zuzana

"Pros: Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, high ceilings, View from the commune living room. Cons: Noisy : you can hear the people in the rooms and terrasses around because it’s not soundproof (glass doors not really closed) Impersonal : only rooms no reception, we didn’t see anybody from the staff. Communication : impossible to find the house without indications because there is no signs and it’s not on the road (steep stairs up in the hill) and they didn’t send us location unless we ask for it because we couldn’t find it. Also pictures shows ocean view from the bedroom and it was very reduce as there is others buildings and a lot of vegetation in front. The view is existing from the living room though. Showers: it was or burning hot or cold but not tempered water possible" ~Justine
