"Pros: The staff were super helpful, especially for helping with Carnaval. The location was perfect, very close to the metro and every shop you could need. The roof terrace with view of Christ the Redeemer was cool. The bedrooms with TVs with all streaming services was really nice.
Cons: The rules are a bit over the top. We really didn't appreciate only being able to rent towels for 4 days at a time and not for our full stay, or just having them included in the rate like is typical with other hostels. We weren't allowed bring in our own alcohol, because the hostel has a bar, when in reality the bar was a fridge with beer in it.
The breakfast is very expensive for the limited amount of food you get. Accommodation is also very expensive for what you get but that's Carnaval I guess.
The rooms had lots of bugs, and our private bathroom had a bad smell."
