At 1,300 metres above sea level, the alpine-style Hotel Samokov is 1 hour's drive from Sofia. It features a bowling alley as well as billiards and table tennis facilities. The state-of-the-art thermal area includes a hammam, steam bath, Finnish sauna, foot baths with sea salts, a Kneipp pool and a relax area. There is a gym, an indoor swimming pool and a beauty centre with cosmetic treatments and a hairdresser. The rooms are equipped with minibars, satellite TV and bathtubs. The balconies boast mountain views. Hotel Samokov's Panorama Restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner as well as an à la carte menu. The Barbecue Terrace next to the swimming pool offers grilled specialities, fresh salads and refreshing drinks. The Samokov has a lobby bar serving cakes, sweets and various cocktails as well as a Sports Bar next to the gym.
