"Pros: Large rooms with a separate bedroom. Well located for visiting nearby tourist attractions. Fully equipped kitchen, Nice and quiet (September 2024). Easy parking a few steps away. Good quality furnishings.
Cons: Just a few minor things which should have been fixed before our arrival. 1 The kettle didn't work - quickly replaced when reported. 2 Some lights not working - quickly fixed when reported. 3. Toilet did not always fill after flushing." ~Brian
"Pros: Location wise, this apartment could not be better! 2 minute walk to the Studenets (middle station) ski lift! It's a perfect ski in ski out apartment.
Only thing was, our taxi driver wasn't quite sure where it was and the nearest place I knew was Spiders Aparthotel where the entrance is the other side of the block. Best to tell them Luxury apartments or the Elena boutique hotel that will get you closer to the main entrance. Also be aware that there are 2, apartment 204's in the block and on the same level. This one's door is in the stairwell and there is an exterior staircase you can use to gain access too. There is a keysafe outside this door (unlike the other 204 apartment).
The view is amazing! You can see the green slope and the black run, the wall, from the balcony.
I loved the two bathrooms, though wet rooms can be a bit of a pain due to all the splashed water everywhere when you have a shower. Though each shower does have a good squeegee in it. The 2 bathrooms make it a great deal easier with 4 people to get ready in the mornings, let alone the 6 it actually sleeps. Perfect!
We are a group of friends, one couple and 2 male friends so the two double beds weren't really suitable here, so one of the guys took the sofa bed which was comfy! So it wasn't an issue, but I feel like single beds are better in apartments like these and you can push together to make a double if needed.
It is pretty well equipped. Almost everything you could need, though could have benefitted from a
Tin opener, whisk, and a pair of scissors.
The one thing I always think necessary in an apartment like this is a clothes airer. We couldn't find one anywhere but it would have been a perfect addition to help hang all our salapettes and damp clothes after a day's skiing. We had to hang things over chairs and doors which wasn't ideal.
Communication with the owner was also perfect. No issues.
Cons: To note: the following are Small things and did not affect our holiday experience, additional things just would have been nice. And just to help others when staying here.
A smoky smell regularly came into the apartment from somewhere, we never did discover where from, (none of us smoke,) may have been through the air conditioning vent, which also serves as a mediocre heater.
Our friend on the sofa bed did find it cold in the main living area as there is no radiator and the air con unit isn't particularly efficient at heating a large room.
No airer, tin opener or scissors.
Wet room does get slippy on the floor unless you squeegee well after a shower and the toilet lid needs to be down or the seat gets soaked! (Top tip: take slippers to avoid wet socks!)
The metal exterior staircase off the stairwell is extremely slippery in icy weather. Be super careful." ~Vikki
