"Pros: At first glance, the motel looks a bit sketchy, but the room -- though small but good value -- was comfortable, quiet, and secure. Walkable to restaurants, downtown, etc. Cons: I am familiar with Duncan so wasn't too concerned by the neighbourhood, but some people may be concerned. (This is Canada though and, in the scheme of things, very safe. Some people are just having a tough time of it and you may see them in town!) The motel is clearly going through renovations, which is great. My room was freshly updated with a comfortable bed, heat pump, etc. (Bring a sleeping mask though -- the light of the heat pump is very bright.)" ~Adrienne
