"Pros: The very friendly owner, who speaks Portuguese and French. The apartment is located in a residential area, that I would consider 'upper-class'. It felt really safe and also at night guarded. The living room had a comfortable sofa and a fan, and the bedroom (with fan) had comfortable beds.
Cons: The layout of the apartment is rather strange... It is located on the ground floor, with windows looking out on the communal hallway and front patio, where other guests walk by and look inside the apartment. So not much privacy. The 2 bathrooms are open to the rest of the apartment and there's a steep staircase to the open bedroom on the first floor (with 2 double beds). So if anyone goes to the toilet at night or wakes up, everybody will wake up. There's also quite some noise coming from the other guests in other apartments. The AC you see in the photos isn't functioning and there is only WiFi in the bedroom."
