"Pros: The building and apartment itself was very modern with excellent amenities inside. The check-in process was very smooth even though we landed past midnight. The apartment was beautiful and spacious which we were very grateful for - the photos shown were exactly what was provided. We were also put in contact with Carlos, who picked us up at the airport and helped us with booking taxis whenever we needed. It was also very close to the center (about 5-7 minutes drive). The view on the rooftop was absolutely breathtaking. Cons: Though we were very impressed with the facilities, there were a lot of disappointments that we encountered. 1. The area Cidadela is known to be a quite upper-class area though if it weren’t for the lovely houses, you wouldn’t be able to tell. The landscaping in the area was non-existent which was a bit of a sore sight considering how grandiose the houses were. As I mentioned earlier, it’s located some distance from the city-centre so it became quite cumbersome to have to order taxis all the time but we were able to manage fine thanks to Carlos. 2. We had an incident where the electricity suddenly went off in the evening. Thankfully, the management was very responsive but we were quite disappointed to hear that the electricity is capped. After this we were extremely conscious about using the AC and slept in baking hot conditions. We felt as paying customers this should have been made abundantly clear as it substantially damped our experience at the apartment. 3. The pool was an absolute disgrace which is such a shame because it’s the main reason why we chose it. It had algae, was not clean and was rarely even turned on. When we enquired, we were told the pool was only cleaned twice a week. Pools should be cleaned far more regularly considering the entire apartment has access to it. This was a major let-down, not only to us but to the beauty of the entire condominium." ~Jessica
