The neighbor offered us mangoes and even eggs from her chicken. People from Santiago are very warm and welcome people; this is all over Santiago. Yolanda cooks very nice meals at her restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Cons: Nothing! It was hot but you have to expect that at this time of the year (July)." ~Diana

"Pros: Absolutely lovely staff members and the best food we had in 2 weeks of travelling in Cape Verde. Do not hesitate to go for the half board option (EUR12.50pp) which they will message you about before you arrive. The views from the terrace are stunning and the location is perfect; we did a fantastic 17km hike loop in the nearby NP, but there are shorter options too." ~Jennifer
