"Pros: The owner's mum who lives in the propery is very nice lady. The bathroom is newly refurbished, very nice shower unit. The room overlooked the yard and was quiet. Cons: I was charged the tax I was not supposed to pay because the foreigners do not pay 19% tax when staying in Chile." ~Ljiljana

"Pros: Hostal staff was excellent with us. Very friendly and very accommodating. We stayed here before and after hiking the "W" and they held our luggage while we hiked. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant (good pizza). And breakfast was provided both mornings we were there. They have quite a selection of baked goods and pastries that were delicious. Room was very comfortable and clean. The shower felt great after three nights in a tent. This is not a five-star hotel so I didn't expect five-star accommodations. Having said that, my exceptional rating is based on the experience exceeding my expectations. It is comfortable and convenient to the business area as well as the bus station. And, most importantly to me, the staff is awesome!! Thank you!!!" ~Maria

"Pros: Reasonably new, very clean and well heated hostal, easy walk to bus station. Good sized/shaped room, nice hot shower and good basic breakfast (including coffee, fruit juice, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs and toast). Laundry and good café (Dulce Chulada) close by. Good wifi Cons: Steep set of stairs up to room which would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues (so you would be best to ask for a room on the ground level)." ~Yvette
