"Pros: Great view of the city waterfront as it sits atop a hill. The main living room was very spacious and surrounded with glass windows. Nice to be on the second floor so we could take advantage of that view and not have to keep curtains drawn for privacy. The ground floor apartments would not have the view. Heated by wood stove, and wall heaters in the bedrooms that came on around 11:00. Woodstove was easy to light (discovered later that the wood had been dipped in a magical lighting fluid which i suspect was diesel). Very clean, check in was friendly and easy. Consistent water pressure and heat in the showers! There is a large dining space upstairs that you have full access to, so if you were so inclined you can bring your food/take-out to that space. Pool wasn't open because we were there later in the fall, but hottub was. About a 15 minute walk down the hill to the waterfront area. A small store 200M away at the street corner sells wine, beer, and baked goods -- super convienient. Cons: Couldn't find a corkscrew in our kitchen, which was reasonably outfitted otherwise, for our wine! I'm sure they would have found me one if I had gone to ask." ~Robert
