"Pros: beautiful outdoor location, very quiet, peaceful. the host is very friendly and helpful in getting there and around. she brought us a fresh banana in the morning from her garden.
Cons: on the photo's there is this lively communal area with a campfire and we did not experience that vibe at all. room was quite basic and you're still a 15 mins bus ride from Salento."

"Pros: This homestay is located a little outside of central Boquia (a town outside of touristic and crowdy Salento). It is on the road side. Getting to Salento or anywhere else is really easy, frequent buses run both ways, but you get a little of that road noise. The other side of the homestay looks at the most amazing view which is also where you will have breakfast served by the loveliest of ladies Viviana, who is the heart of this homestay really. She keeps the place spick and span. Ideal for walks in nature away from the crowds. Shops and restaurants are about 20 min away on foot/3 min by bus. Very good cafe/gastropub right next door.
Cons: Parts of the house were still under construction when I stayed here. Am sure it will turn into something beautiful in due time."
