From the moment we arrived, Vaa and Joliene, the wonderful hosts who manage the property, welcomed us with such warmth and genuine care that we instantly felt at home. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our stay was perfect made the experience unforgettable.
The property itself is a slice of paradise. Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical.
The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests.
Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality.

"Pros: The property was in the perfect location. Close enough to restaurants etc, but far enough away to feel private. The hosts were so helpful with everything we asked about. The boat tour with Marokii is an absolute must. Will definitely stay again next time we are on Aitutaki

The flight from Rarotonga to Aitutaki takes about 45 minutes. Airport transfers are available. All of these 5-star villas feature marble floors throughout and fully equipped designer kitchens. Guests can relax with a home entertainment system featuring a 50-inch TV, DVD library and iPod connection. The spacious dining and living areas open onto a beachfront terrace with your own spa pool, while a A boardwalk takes you from your private villa to a sun lounging area at the water’s edge. Guests at Aitutaki Escape Cook Islands enjoy free use of snorkelling gear, bicycles and kayaks. In-house dining options include hamper packs, or there is a private chef who can cater for romantic dinners.
