"Pros: Lovely room and bathroom and a great balcony (especially once we were provided with a table) with views over the countryside. Pool was small but good although no shade (either parasols or trees) and only a few chairs. Breakfast was delicious. Gardens were very pretty and the hummingbirds were great. Cons: We didn't have a car so the location, a 10 minute car journey to Cahuita, was a problem. Karen arranged for us to be dropped off and picked up, but it really did feel isolated, especially as the restaurant was not open in the evening. (We were offered the option of ordering food which would be prepared before the chef left at 2pm and reheated but that was not very satisfactory). To be honest, if we'd only stayed a couple of nights these issues would not have been a problem but five nights was way too long. The room was only cleaned once, when we requested it, rather than daily as advertised." ~Lmsuk

"Pros: The pool was great for kids, the garden and plants were beautiful, very nice living room with kitchen and patio. Very safe/secure location with parking within the property. Close to a big supermarket and restaurants. Cons: The lawn was extremely wet/flooded, so it was impossible to walk around it. The double bed in master bedroom was quite narrow (smaller than a typical queen bed). No TV in the living room." ~Krzysztof
