It was a short walk to the Main Street in Montezuma Cons: As we were on the ground floor next to reception and the restaurant we were woken up at 5.30 by staff chatting and at breakfast guests chatting. "Pros: Location was great. Right near the start of the path to the waterfall in Montezuma. At night you can hear the river and the ocean. We booked a “junior suite”, had a double bed and air conditioning. A/C worked great. It’s about a 7min walk into Montezuma along the waterfront (flat terrain walk). We loved this, as Montezuma can get very loud with music and party’s at night. We were close by but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness. The place is well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The people who own and work at La Cascada are very nice and welcoming. This is among my top 2 spots to stay in Montezuma. I would definitely return.
