"Pros: The flat was in a small group of apartments - 4 in all , who shared a pool. There was plenty of space to share the communal areas. The flat was spotless and well appointed . Walking distance to the beach and nice restaurants Cons: No bread knife The payment facilities were limited- no credit cards. We chose to pay by paypal, but the amount we paid was reduced by Paypal, who took a commission and we had to pay extra in cash which was annoying" ~Philippa

"Pros: The facility was modern with air conditioning that worked very well. Having a second bedroom was extremely nice and I will need to remember this facility when we come with another couple or with family members. The parking and the enitere complex were both behind locked doors, so felt very secure. Liked having a full-size refrigerator, microwave and utensils. Cons: Having hot water would have made the stay more pleasant. But I think there is water, that just happened to not be working at the momement in our unit. Because the maintenance man arrived as we were loading the car at the end of our stay. There were a couple large water bugs with wings in the unit, which I am use to in Costa Rica, but my guest was not. lol. Other than that there os not much that I could comment on for improvement of the location ;)" ~Dawn

"Pros: Location, Everything about the cottage we rented. Wildlife encounters, awesome staff, honest owner, upkeep, freedom. Safe secure and really close to nature, no...in nature. Cons: We couldn t stay longer." ~Kawartha

"Pros: Beyond Paradise - this feels like being in the jungle, but without having the jungle in your room. The howler monkeys aren't THAT loud, by the way! The fan/netting system with the open windows and high ceilings works wonders, and we could sleep without problems. Every morning the owner served another delicious breakfast by the pool, with the occasional cat or agouti strolling by. La Paz is close to the beach and restaurants, so that's another bonus. If it rains, the ingenious roof keeps the wetness away from the terrace. We didn't travel in the rain season, but this being the Caribbean, the duty showers appeared almost every day. We loved every moment, and if we can, we'll be back. We also took a trip to Cahuita and the waterfall with Joel, the recommended guide, and he was great too. Cons: That we had to leave!!!!!! :-))" ~Claudia
