The food was amazing, and surpassed only by the service!!! Our deluxe room had a gorgeous view of Playa Manuel Antonio and on the sky deck in the rear of the hotel was an amazing view of Playa Biesanz and the most amazing sunsets!!!! The pool never closes, nor the jacuzzi!!!! The staff was immensely knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and honest. It was quite literally the best hotel stay I've had foreign or domestic!!!!" How to get to La Mansión Inn from San José (by car) La Mansión Inn is approximately 3 hours south of San José's Juan Santamaría International Airport. From the airport take the Pan American Highway West approximately 6 miles (or about 9.7 km). Take a right on the exit ramp for Atenas, then a left at the signs pointing toward Atenas and Jacó crossing over the Pan American Highway. Keep following the signs for Atenas, then Orotina and then Jacó. (If you want to stop at the Tárcoles river, just before you reach Jacó, you can usually see many large and impressive wild crocodiles resting on the river banks. However, please keep in mind that as this is a popular spot for tourists to leave their cars and people have unfortunately been victims of petty theft here in the past. Take caution to lock your vehicles and be very vigilant of your belongings)! It will take you about 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to Jacó and then it is about another hour to Quepos via Parrita. Once you arrive in Quepos (from San José), keep driving along the road that runs parallel to the beach. Turn left when you pass a small park and there is a sign pointing the way to Manuel Antonio.
