"Pros: Very nice, photos describe the property well. The views into the forest are amazing.
Cons: The description doesn’t mention that the property is a house that is rented by a family that lives in a bigger house on the same plot. So it’s an Airbnb situation. That in itself is not bad, but the family has dogs which were constantly barking and howling from 5-6am and we couldn’t properly relax. That is the only reason I evaluated this property 7/10."

"Pros: Idyllic gardens with many viewpoints from which to soak in the amazing landscape. Phil is a great host, lovely to chat to and listen to all his stories about the ranch and Costa Rica. His coffee is exceptional. It was the perfect stay for a late afternoon landing at the airport & breaking the journey to Tortuguero or Puerto Viejo.
