The property is gated with a caretaker for security and convenience. Each unit has bedrooms with linens and bath towels provided, air conditioning, a kitchen, living room and outside patio with hammoc. There is a barbecue in the communal rancho. Villas Solar also includes a barbecue. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including horse riding, snorkeling and diving. The property is a 5 hour drive from San Jose including the ferry ride or a 20 minutes' flight from San Jose to Tambor then a 45 minutes drive away.
