"Pros: Very nice place, with a comfortable bed and most kitchen equipment you’d need. The hosts are super nice and made very good breakfasts for us each morning, also traditional tico dishes (it was included in our booking). We could rent bikes but decided to walk around: about 20 minutes to the marina ballena national park/beach, 5 minutes to a small store and pool club, 10 minutes to a big supermarket and a short distance to what felt like more «sentral Uvita» with more cafés etc. We also walked to the waterfall which took around 40-50 minutes.
Cons: The place is right next to a road and you hear all the motorbikes and cars passing by really well, also during the night/early hours. I’m a light sleeper but still this was not a big problem, as I fell quickly back to sleep every time, and I felt well rested every day."
