"Pros: The property is beautiful, its probably worth around 1 million Euro's if it was to be sold, its got EVERYTHING you need, the owner has thought of everything when building it and furnishing it. Great Pool, fantastic Hot tub, the lounge area is open and spacious, and the air conditioning works perfectly throughout the property, you can have it as cold or as hot as you like. There is a BBQ if you want to cook outside, but the indoor kitchen is well supplied. The WIFI is excellent considering where the property is.
The host Maté, is a kind and lovely man, he lives about 2 hours away we think, but he pops over regularly and keeps in touch with you to check you are ok and if you need anything. He has an allotment on the grounds, so he also gives you fresh vegetables and Cheese which he makes himself! A very endearing character and a pleasure to deal with.
Cons: We knew this before we booked, but the location is quite remote, but that was what we expected, and we had a Rental car for that reason. In our 11 days there we visited the beaches at Brela, and had dinner in Baska Voda twice, thats a lively town. We also went to Split and Trogir twice, they are fantastic, as well as the beautiful Waterfalls at Kirk National Park. They are all within 1 hour drive, and the A1 toll road allows everything to be accessible as quick as possible.
In Cista Provo, where the Villa is, there are 2 large supermarkets, and a petrol station 5 mins away, so no problem for supplies at all. There are also a few local bars."
