"Pros: House Nada is about a 25 minute walk from Plitvice Lakes National Park.
There is also a B&B down the road that's called Guesthouse Ljubo & Ana where Ivana arranged for me to be able to go for breakfast in the mornings. Ana is lovely and cooks up a seriously great breakfast (and leftovers to take to go!). This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I was grateful for this as there were no other breakfast options within walking distance.
Cons: Although a shuttle is mentioned in the listing, it wasn't running or working during the time that I booked, which is when I needed it most due to the weather and conditions of the road.
The host, Ivana, was kind to give me a ride from her work (the National Park -- same place as the bus stop), after I happened to run into her there and asked her for the favor since I had heavy luggage on me and it would have been really hard for me to walk with my things from there to the house.
On my way out, I had to end up leaving the house at 5am in the dark, in the freezing cold, and on icy roads, because Ivana said she couldn't give me a ride to the bus stop. This was disappointing.
Although it wasn't her responsibility to give me a ride, it's not even a five minute drive to the bus stop from her house. It would have taken her a total of 10 minutes max (there and back) to do me this favor -- especially considering how bad the roads were and how cold and dark it is in the morning. I ended up having to walk 35 minutes with my heavy luggage up hills and icy roads to get to the bus stop. Something that would have taken Ivana very little effort and time to do, and would have been a great help to me, ended up costing me a lot more.
Considering there was no shuttle running and the weather and tne conditions of the road were very bad, I think this is something Ivana could have easily done."
