"Pros: Upon arrival with my Mom the owner of the apartment has greeted us. She was really sweet and welcoming, giving us all the information it is good to and even essential to know (e.g. the phone number of the national emergency services, or the local 24/7 pharmacy's location). The place was absolutely spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host even thought of some extras like washing powder for the washing machine use (greatly appreciated Ljiljana!) The kitchen is well equipped with all essentials and she even thought of leaving for the guest quick options for breakfast and tea & coffee available in case you were tired from the journey. She even thought of families with babies and young children - pouches of fresh milk were available in the fridge in case you needed a quick meal for your kids! All around Ljiljana is the most thoughtful host I've ever had the chance to meet and I cannot speak highly enough of her! Please stay at her place if you have a family and you are planning to have a holiday in Rijeka - Ljiljana will make sure you are taken care of and all your needs are met! Cons: There is pretty much nothing I can mention. The city of Rijeka felt safe even for an evening walk alone. Rijeka's main roads were under reconstruction during our stay, so we had to keep in mind to avoid certain routes, but it didn't cause us any major inconvenience!" ~Éva
