"Pros: The apartment was very spacious, clean, well-decorated and fully equipped (except for shower gel and shampoo which you can get from the supermarket opposite). The beds were super comfy with enough fluffy pillows.
However, the highlight was the amazing views of the marina and the Old Town from the balcony and the bedroom. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, but from a couple in their 60's .. the stairs were manageable and totally worth climbing for the lovely views.
The location was superb, just a few minutes walk along the scenic waterfront to the old town or the bus station.
There are eateries nearby and many along the waterfront and in the old town, too. We had most of our meals at Fortuna restaurant as it had a lovely waterfront view, tasty reasonably priced food and friendly husband and wife owners who speak English.
We didn't meet the host Alex but he was very responsive and helpful in all our communications. His lovely wife, Silvia helped to check us as Alex kindly allowed us an earlier check-in. He also went out of his way to find a way to help us to store our luggage after check-out.
Alex is truly a superhost and we absolutely recommend his place .. one of the best apartments that we have stayed throughout our travels!
He even left us yummy goodies for breakfast and a welcome bottle of wine in the fridge.
