"Pros: Even though the apartment looks old it is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can prepare a full meal without any problems. There is private parking which is not in the street. Cons: The bathroom needs improvement because the water leaks out from the shower and fills the floor. The windows don't have mosquito nets. The old lady that was present at the check-in does not speak english, just german and croatian. Upon arrival at 16:30 she demanded that we hand over the passports and that she will keep them until the next day in order to complete the registration forms. We were reluctant to the fact that our IDs will be kept until the next day and argued that when her daughter(the owner) arrives we can give her the IDs in order to complete the forms. At which point the old lady started to get angry and she threatened to kick us out of her apartment and after that she started to cry and make a scene. All this happened in front of my 11years old daughter who became scared and frightened. We provided the IDs in order to deescalate the situation. Next day her daughter brought the IDs and apologized for her mother behavior. This situation ruined couple of days of our vacation and scared my daughter. One evening we forgot the AC on for approx. 2h while we went for dinner. Next day the owner was at our door scolding us that we didn't read and respect the house rule. We apologized and were careful not to leave anything on. We weren't upset about her coming to tell us about the AC, we just didn't like the attitude." ~David
