"Pros: I liked the location right inside the old city walls. The room was located on the ground floor, which is hard to find when I travel (I have bad knees and ankles). Also, the room was quiet and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Check-in reception was a few blocks away and the staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The entrance to the building looked a bit rough. Just inside the main entrance, the door to the courtyard apartment appeared to have had its glass smashed. Boarded up. Lots of graffiti on the walls inside the courtyard as well, mostly telling tourists to 'F off.' But the room itself was clean and secure." ~Craig

"Pros: Great room for one/few night(s). Adriatic Explorer employees were very helpful and kind. Cons: The terrace/balcony is very small with a view on a common green space shared between blocks of flats. Quite unpleasant smell in the ground floor when entering the building, the door accessing that building is always open. No parking space nearby and even less free parking space close by. The reception is Adriatic explorer tourist company, not located in the building, as the room is actually a flat in a block of flats that has been refurbished into rooms. In my opinion, the price (around 100) is above the value of this type of room, quite small." ~Marianne
