"Pros: The property is well-designed, well-appointed, and very clean. We loved the fact that it was far enough from
Willemstad and the overpopulated areas of the island yet close enough for a 40-minute drive to pretty much anywhere on the island. The nightly sunset overlooking the ocean from the pool (See photo) is spectacular. The nights were quiet and relaxing and the pool perfectly tempered.
We did have some mishaps with the property which could have derailed our vacation but the management staff (Eva & Olga) were responsive and effective at resolving the issues within the very same day that they occurred. I bring this up as a positive for the property. Things can always go wrong or break but the fact that the staff took care of the issues as fast as they did gives this property a huge leg up to other properties we have stayed at. They literally saved our vacation on two occasions and we appreciate it.
Cons: The fact that there isn't air conditioning in the entire house and only in the bedroom was a problem, but we understand that is the norm in Curaçao. If we could do it all over again we would search for a fully air-conditioned Villa.
The fact that there are no (glass) windows or bug screens was a bit of a problem as well. The bugs (mosquitoes) had an open invitation to the house as my wife's many bites would attest.
There are two restaurants in the community, the one on the beach was good with fantastic staff, but the one next to the pool was very difficult in every way you could imagine and not worth spending money at."

"Pros: This is a gorgeous house with panoramic views of the ocean! It was more than spacious for our group of 7. We reserved the house for 13 guests so that we can use all the bedrooms. It is an open air house so there isn't air conditioning in the common areas, only in the bedrooms. It was quite hot when we were in Curacao, but we spent most every day exploring the island. The host sent ample information before we checked in, and Olga was right next door if we needed anything. Olga is the best!
Cons: Some airconditioners worked better than others. There were a few hiccups with appliances, but thankfully there is a second fridge. The main fridge stopped working on our last day. Maybe it was a powerout? The furniture should be rechecked for sturdiness. I sat on a swing chair and it collapsed. I'm ok, but a screw was loose.
The two largest bedrooms have an additional room with a pullout couch, but I wouldnt place anyone there to sleep since there isn't airconditioning in that room.
Electricity is extra. Our additional charge for electric usage for all 7 bedrooms for 5 days was close to $300 usd. This was expected and explained before our stay, but it is something to be aware of."

"Pros: All transactions occurred at the villa rather than the office.
Cons: Some of the support staff could have responded better. It felt a few times like we were not welcome but fortunately this was not a common issue. The residents and other guests as well as the ladies we dealt with checking in/out were welcoming and the experience exceptional."
