Our staff is always eager to share insider tips about the best things to do and see in Prague. Located in Žižkov, just three tram stops from Václavské Námestí, the heart of Prague's center, our hostel offers a perfect blend of convenience and local experiences. With the highest number of bars in the city, Žižkov, offers an array of beer gardens, cafes, and restaurants. We value the importance of staying connected, so we offer free Wi-Fi throughout all areas of the hostel. Our hostel caters to all your basic needs for a comfortable stay. Forgot your hairdryer or iron? No worries, simply request one from our friendly reception desk. In our dorms, we provide lockers for your convenience, but please remember to bring your own lock, or they are conveniently available for purchase at our reception. Kindly be advised that our private rooms are outfitted with a combination of double and single beds. We kindly request that you inform us of your preferred bed arrangement by sending a message through the booking platform. Please understand that bed preferences are subject to availability, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Kindly note that our hostel is located on a hill; however, directions are outlined on our website to access the hostel with less of an incline. Additionally, please be advised that access to our reception, rooms, and common areas is only possible via stairs, as there is no elevator on the premises. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please inform Clown and Bard Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Our reception is open from 8:00hrs - 23:30 hrs. Check-in after 23:00 hrs can be requested at least 48 hours prior to arrival and is subject to a late check-in fee of 250 CZK. All requests for arrivals outside reception opening hours are subject to confirmation by the property. All guest 18 years of age or older are required to pay the city tax of 50CZK/night upon arrival. A refundable key security deposit of 200 CZK or 10 EUR, which must be paid in cash only, is required upon check-in for each set of keys. Kindly be advised for group reservations of 8 or more guests, a deposit of 400 CZK or 20 EUR per person is required. This deposit must be paid in cash upon arrival. The purpose of this deposit is to ensure that our house rules are adhered to by large groups and to cover any potential damages that may occur during the stay. The deposit will be refunded to the guest during check-out after a thorough room inspection, provided there are no damages and no house rules were broken during your stay. Please note to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, we do not allow minors (under 18 years old) in dorm rooms. Written parental consent is required for those under the age of 18 and they may only stay in a private room. In case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged, plus applicable taxes. We would like to inform you that our reception, rooms, and common spaces can only be accessed via stairs, and unfortunately, we do not have an elevator available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be aware the hostel reserves the right to deny admission to any person acting aggressively, being intoxicated, under the influence of narcotics, or otherwise posing a threat to our staff and guests. Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. People 3 years old and over stay for 400 Kč per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
