"Pros: The location was beautiful and the house had a lot of potential, but that’s where the positives end. Cons: The house was filthy on arrival, and it was FULL of bugs. There were spiders on every surface of the house, and cobwebs on every corner. This house has not been professionally cleaned in a very long time (if ever!) and they still charged us £130 extra for ‘cleaning’. What cleaning? We left the place cleaner than we found it. There were no blinds in the bedrooms so we would be woken up at 5am by the sun beaming in. The sink in the ensuite bathroom doesn’t drain and is therefore completely unusable. We had to use the shower for basic things like brushing our teeth or washing our hands. The ceiling lights in the bedrooms (if there are any at all) don’t work. The boiler is leaking and should get fixed, the wifi only works in one small corner of the house and there is NO signal at all in the area so you need the wifi to work. The house does not come with any bedding or towels so you have to bring these yourself which is already incredibly inconvenient and insane considering how much they charge. The outdoor spaces are completely unusable. Dirty and some of the furniture was broken. The BBQ was disgusting. The door handle in the downstairs bathroom was broken and fell on my mother in law’s foot leaving a big bruise. We booked this house as we were getting married in Store Heddinge and wanted a nice and big house where we could comfortably stay during this very special occasion… and it was such a massive disappointment. Don’t let the photos fool you, the place is filthy and it’s not the responsibility of the guests to deep clean this house on arrival! Booking.com only compensated us with £83 of CREDIT to use on their site. What a joke! I had never heard of Novasol before and now I know to avoid them at all cost." ~Talin
