"Pros: The whole setting is excellent, intriguing entrance within a small 'boutique' shopping arcade setting. As I was there with work I didn't get out into the town until Saturday morning and what a revelation that was. Everything you would like to see is a short walk for the hotel, so the location could not be better. Restaurant was excellent (we ate at the Italian restaurant on site both evenings, food was excellent and service was prompt. Obviously a popular restaurant for non residents too. Great, friendly staff. My room was basic but clean and warm (end of March so a bit cold outside).
Cons: Room view now obscured by new building work, and that started at 06:00 on Thursday morning, but construction can't be helped - most of the noise was during day. However, building work is nothing to do with the hotel, so no complaint with the venue at all - progress is progress!"
