"Pros: We spent a considerable amount of time researching places and kept going back to this one. We found it struck the best balance of having things to do, but also being able to relax. We loved the water park, we enjoyed the activities led by Manuel, Bryan, and Diomedes, found the staff to always be friendly and helpful, and loved the grounds on both the family and adults side. The beach was super clean and the staff spent a considerable effort keeping it that way. We never dealt with bugs which i found to be surprising considering the temps were in the 80's and it was still humid. The food options were plenty even for picky eaters and the bars were fun. We loved that you could rent kayaks, snorkel gear, or sail boats for free and it was essentially effortless outside of signing a waiver. There were things for my wife to do and things i could go do. We really liked this place and want to send a special thanks to Bryan, Manuel, and Diomedes who were a blast to hang around. They really made the trip that much better. Cons: I wouldnt say any of these are complaints, but moreso suggestions for improvements. 1) Add a bar on the adults side that replicates the family side. Each night, the sports bar was full of teenagers who locked down the pool tables and seating. We would have loved to play pool/throw darts or something in the evening. There should be something for the adults like this. 2) The butelr, who was great and always there for us, should include a more comprehensive tour when you show up. We found the family buffet and went there the first two nights not knowing there was an adult side. I know it was listed, but we just didnt notice it until night 3. The quality was mostly equal, but there were different options on both sides. 3) For what we paid, I think it would make sense for the hotel to include the taxi fare each way. We booked our own and on the way back to the airport, ours was a no show. This was no fault of the hotel and they secured a taxi for us to help us get back, but i think the back and forth aspect is a little stressful and could be mitigated with this perk. Its probably at a cost of 50-60 bucks for the hotel for a round trip commitment. 4) I dont have a problem with this at all, but for anyone really looking to party, this isnt it. We came to relax, spend time together alone, and enjoy the activities. We knew this was the atmosphere going in. This is more for anyone looking to Spring Break it here thinking there will be night life and a club or something. This isnt that kind of place." ~Bb
