Then trust me the owners are so quick to respond it really makes you feel welcome and you are certainly not just left there without any pointers. "Pros: The location is unbeatable. Very walkable to all the shops and resturants. We really enjoyed the upper living room and deck. It was a bit cold/rainy when we were there but we were still able to spend some time out on the deck with the heat lamps they had! Loved the overall style and architecture of the apartment. Had lots of opportunities to people watch in the streets and watch the boats in the harbor while enjoying coffee or wine. Overall, it was clean and comfy and served our needs. I would highly recommend it. Cons: We did have some issues finding the place. Luckily, the host was very responsive and helpful in the moment. I do wonder if some of the important check-in info wasn't provided to me ahead of time?? For example, we didn't know that there is NOT parking at the property--- had to park in a public parking lot a very short distance away (wasn't a problem at all once we knew). We also noticed that the "important info sheet" provided inside the apartment had a QR code with useful information that did NOT work for either of our 3 phones, therefore, we did not have internet connection/passcode. I didn't bother to ask for it, but I am sure we could have gotten it quickly if I asked. It was a bit noisy on Saturday night, but we expected it with such a prime location. "Pros: A decidely modern apartment, especially the kitchen (a "smart" kitchen!) and the bathroom; clean and orderly. The location of the apartment is very central indeed. Annika (the hostess) was friendly and helpful. Sites and shops are within walking distance. Cons: There was a discrepancy regarding the checkout time. Booking.com had clearly stated 11am, but as we were in the process of packing to leave at that time, we were informed that the actual checkout time was 10am. Luckily there was no problem as the next guests were arriving somewhat later that day, but that would not always be the case." ~Roy

"Pros: For a small room it didn’t feel cramped if that makes sense. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast included was a nice benefit - simple but effective offering. Kettle rather than coffee maker, and a nice variety of teas. Cons: The Scandinavian habit of the bathroom all being one level of floor meant it got a bit wet, as the shower was incredibly narrow. Tiny sink was an issue for me, I was there a week & had to do some laundry. No laundromats in town. Thankfully a staff member was kind enough to loan me a metal container used for dishes in the restaurant. I appreciate their ingenuity. If you’re staying as long as I did get a bigger room or consider an Airbnb or equivalent" ~Luke
