We appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail, making our holiday enjoyable and stress-free. We highly recommend this cottage for families looking for a relaxing and fun getaway. Cons: While our stay at the cottage was enjoyable, we felt that having a welcome book with FAQs would have been beneficial. This guide could include helpful hints on how to use various fixtures and fittings, such as the air conditioning and cooker, which would have allowed us to operate them with ease. By providing such a resource, future guests could find answers to common questions without needing to contact the host frequently. This small addition would enhance the overall experience and make the stay even more convenient and enjoyable. "Pros: We had an amazing stay and the host was fantastic! Not only did he was super responsive, but he also let us borrow his snowmobile and spent a full morning coming to the house to make an open fire in the forest were we grilled sausages and listening to stories about Finland and the area. It was truly amazing and we are so greatful for this amazing experience!!! The house is super cosy and looks exactly as in the images and we loved the location about 30 min from Rovaniemi and with the Forrest just behind the house. Cons: We stayed two families and in total 8 people and the house only have one shower which was a little bit complicated. Next time we come, it would be great with an extra outdoor shower. The house was great, but at the same time we paid almost 6.000 euros for 4 days. While we personally loved the experience, the host, and the house, it is a lot of money for a small house like this with basic amenities and I think many people who are used to rent houses in, for example the alps, where you for this price get a 300sqm 6 bedroom house might get a little bit disappointed." ~Michael

"Pros: We recently visited as two families with children ranging from 2-11 and what a fabulous time we had! From the minute we booked the host responded to messages quickly and when we arrived just we fell in love with the property. It was clean and spacious and had all the little extras there. From salt and pepper to washing up liquid to a little bit of soap powder it was available to make our stay easy. Local supermarket was 10 minutes away and an easy drive to Rovaniemi and SCV. The kids loved the sleds provided and spent hours just wanting to play outside. The scenery was stunning and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. Would definitely return!" ~Louise
