"Pros: I spent two amazing weeks at Mareva and Hubert's nature, organic, authentic paradise. They are incredibly warm and lovely people who would just make your Polynesian stay real, because they just love their land and know how to introduce it to others. An know how to respect privacy. The key words there for me were simplicity and resourcing. It's not your fancy hotel, but everything was clean, comfortable, and works well, from internet to hot water, ceiling fans, freely accessible kitchen and mosquito prevention! I loved living outside so much (kitchen and shower are open to the outdoors), eating fresh produce and eggs from the garden each day, and enjoying my little private patio on the back. Amazing sunrise views of Tahiti from just above the house, and this side of the island is best if you want to have a more local experience (and some small nice beaches and snorkeling place 2-5 kms away). Scooter rental just down the road. If you want a nature yet comfortable experience, down-to-earth and away from the tourist spots, this is your place Mauruuru 🙏♥️ Cons: As I said, it's not your place if you look for something more luxurious or impersonally fancy." ~Cédric
