"Pros: The apartment is close to the city center. And you can get to all the sightseeing locations by train or u-bahn, that is very close to the apartment. Grocery shop and chemists are also very close." ~Georgii
"Pros: The apartment was spacious, bright and cool (temperature wise) considering the heat wave that was going on during our stay. It is perfect for a group of good friends travelling together to explore Berlin. It is located close to the s and u bahns, about 20min from the city centre. Also a few grocery stores, food/bars, laundry mats and other such near by.
We enjoyed the space and neighborhood very much. We were able to get good rest and escape the heat.
Also, the host is very helpful and responsive. We had a small issue in the beginning of our stay which got fixed perfectly within an hour after reporting it. Thank you!
Cons: The apartment could do with a stock of some hygiene supplies such as dish and hand soap, toilet paper, a broom and trash bags. So that guest can clean up after themselves or do not have to immediately run to the shop to get some supplies upon arrival.
Also, probably the worst aspect of the apartment is the beds. I was expecting some discomfort considering the good price of the flat, but some of the mattresses and bedframes were really disfigured and painful to sleep in - especially when you are staying for a longer while. Hopefully you'll be able to replace those soon, as that was really the only true/unsolvable discomfort we felt during our stay." ~Aili
"Pros: Arrival was very easy - we called the host who picked up immediately and instructed us on how to find the keys.
The apartment - and balcony - was extremely huge with lots of light coming in. We especially loved the open kitchen right next to the large dining table. The bathroom is really big and looks like newly renovated , with a great shower and bathtub. The apartment is very close to a metro station, so we could be in Alexanderplatz in about 15 minutes. A large Rewe supermarket is located clocely by also. Very convenient.
We brought 2 madrasses, so we could fit 8 people into the three bedrooms and no one had to sleep in the living room.
Definately value for money!
Cons: The apartment had only 3 wine glasses - we could have used 4, since we were 4 adults (and 4 kids). But not a big issue. Be aware that the door to the bathroom is made from frosted glass and does not close tightly, so if you are shy about visiting the toilet, you should consider if this is okay for you :)" ~Mette
